With a European release next week, XSEED Games has announced that Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson will launch in North America this September.

The 2.5D beat-’em-up adventure will be made available through the Nintendo eShop ($39.99), and will also receive a limited ‘Double D Edition’ retail release ($49.99). This includes a two-disc soundtrack comprised of 60 tracks, and can be purchased through the official website.

To coincide with the announcement, Senran Kagura Burst is now on sale on the Nintendo eShop until September 14th – reduced to $19.99, from the normal $29.99 price tag.

Those that have Senran Kagura Burst save data on their SD card can unlock Ikaruga’s brother Murasama as a playable character for free, as in Europe. Whereas he will also be available as premium DLC for those without, priced at $4.99.

Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Europe and Australia on August 27th, and in North America on September 15th.
