SEGA have confirmed that they have no plans to release a Wii U version of the newly announced Alien: Isolation.

The first-person survival horror, which will seek to capture “the horror and tension evoked by Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic film,” is currently set for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC later this year, once again souring that another key third-party release is skipping Nintendo’s console.

“Right now, we don’t have plans to put the game on Wii U,” they clarified through the game’s official Twitter account, responding to a query as to whether it was on the cards.

Creative Assembly are currently developing the title, most commonly associated for their ongoing work on the Total War strategy series.
