SEGA has revealed that its third UK studio will be known as ‘Hardlight’, confirming as such through a job listing.
The studio is currently developing a “unique action adventure developed exclusively for PS Vita” which will release later in the year, and retains staff that previously worked at SEGA Racing Studio before it closed.
The Solihull-based studio will also maintain a close relationship with SEGA R&D, with the job listing explaining the reason as to “stay at the cutting edge of developments in technology, middleware and game experiences”, and will seek to create “high quality and innovative experiences for both current and future platforms”.
