SEGA Files Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz Trademark In Europe

SEGA has filed a new trademark application for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz in Europe.

This comes after the publisher filed a trademark for Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball in Japan last month, although, at this point, it’s unclear whether the Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz trademark is simply a protective measure.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz was released as a launch title for Wii in 2006, and, thanks to the Wii Remote, had challenged players to tilt, twist, roll, and jump using different motions.

While there were puzzle stages to complete, the game also had more than 50 party games to compete against friends and family in, whether that be mini-games based around ring toss, fighting aliens in space, or smacking pesky moles.
