We now have an extensive selection of ways in which to customise the HOME Menu of the Nintendo 3DS, all thanks to the Theme Shop.

While Nintendo have been delivering plenty of their own themes for us to choose from, SEGA have been equally supportive of the service. It has been those inspired by their past consoles that have set tongues wagging, even though they’re yet to be released outside of Japan.

Their ill-fated but long adored Dreamcast has now joined the ranks, sporting an orange and white design based upon the console’s Japanese logo – its controller and Visual Memory Unit (VMU) swirling in the background.

The chirpy music that accompanies the HOME Menu theme is taken from Dream Passport, which was a disc bundled with the console that let owners access online services such as an Internet Browser and Email.

The SEGA Dreamcast HOME Menu theme for Nintendo 3DS is now available in Japan, priced at 200 yen.
