Amid SEGA’s fiscal year earnings report lies rather positive news regarding the third-party publisher’s intentions to support Nintendo’s Wii U.

Having already brought the adrenaline-fuelled Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and puzzler The Cave to the platform, the report indicates that SEGA plans to release seven new titles for the console by March 2014.

Such pledges don’t end their either, with the Nintendo 3DS seeing six new titles as the publisher ceases support for the Nintendo DS.

At this point, what these will be is anyone’s guess, although we’re sure that SEGA are most likely preparing Sonic for another solo debut.

Alongside this, the report reveals that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Tranformed was the company’s best seller during the past year, with 1.36 million sales across North America and Europe. Whereas the Wii U itself accounted for the sale of 310,000 copies worldwide.
