SEGA and M2 have announced that SEGA AGES Puyo Puyo 2 will release on Nintendo Switch next week.

After 25 years, Puyo Puyo 2 has at long last received an official English localisation for a western audience.

Considered as one of the biggest arcade game of all time in Japan, it now comes to the portable home console with two-player online battles, online rankings, a quick rewind function, and a community-requested colourblind mode.

The sequel introduced an improved ruleset and the ability to offset Garbage Puyo sent by your opponent by creating your own Puyo chains – whether that be in the Single Puyo Puyo, Double Puyo Puyo, or Endless Puyo Puyo modes.

SEGA AGES Puyo Puyo 2 will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 20th February 2020 priced at £5.99 ($7.99).
