SEGA 3D Classics expand with Sonic 2, Gunstar Heroes and Streets of Rage 2


With the current SEGA’s 3D Classics wave nearing conclusion, three more titles have been announced that will allow us to relive more classics from the SEGA Genesis (or SEGA Mega Drive) era.

3D Streets of Rage 2, 3D Gunstar Heroes and 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will release in July, August and September respectively, following on from April and May’s 3D Fantasy Zone II and 3D Thunder Blade.

As we’ve come to expect from M2’s painstaking remasters, these will introduce stereoscopic 3D visuals and optimisations for Nintendo’s trusty handheld as well as new modes and features.

Each game will be priced at £4.49 (€4.99 / $5.99), releasing exclusively for Nintendo 3DS through the Nintendo eShop.
