SEGA 3D Classics Collection will soon infuse the Americas with retro appeal, with SEGA announcing plans to release the nine game assortment at retail.

With Pokémon art director Ken Sugimori penning the box artwork, four of the nine classics housed on the cart have never seen release on Nintendo 3DS before. Those that players can look forward to include Power Drift and Puyo Puyo 2, which have never been released outside of Japan.

The list of new additions continues with Master System’s Maze Walker and Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa, with Fantasy Zone II W, Sonic The Hedgehog, Thunder Blade, Galaxy Force II, and Altered Beast rounding out the package. Developer M2 has meticulously ported them to the handheld, breaking them down to then rebuild them with improved visuals, game modes and tweaks.

SEGA 3D Classics Collection will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS across the Americas at retail and digitally in the Nintendo eShop on April 26th.
