SEGA 3D Classics Collection Headed To Europe

SEGA 3D Classics Collection is slowly working its way toward a release in Europe, having recently launched in North America this past month.

It is a 10-strong compilation that includes reworked Arcade, SEGA Mega Drive and SEGA Master System games such as 3D Sonic the Hedgehog, 3D Power Drift, and 3D Galaxy Force II. Developed by M2, six were released individually on the Nintendo eShop while four are exclusive to the retail release.

SEGA Europe community and social marketing manager Dan Sheridan has assured fans clamouring for its arrival in the region that it is definitely coming, but that the publisher is awaiting for “approval submissions” to be finalised before they can share more details.

“We’ve also heard that fans are looking forward to the release of 3D Classics Collection in Europe, and, subject to approval submissions, we’ll have news to share soon,” Sheridan confirmed. “One thing I can tell you, is it is coming!”

SEGA 3D Classics Collection is now available exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America and Japan, and will soon see release in Europe.

  1. Pretty raw deal for those that have already bought the previous 3D classics and would like to also own Power Drift.
