CIRCLE Entertainment and Ironward have announced that Solstice Chronicles: MIA will release on Nintendo Switch next week.

You play as an elite marine of the Elysium Corporation in this top-down twin-stick sci-fi action shooter, who, left far behind enemy lines on Mars, comes to rely on comes to rely on an insurgent drone called Saffron.

With corporations and insurgents racing to find a cure for the STROL virus that has swept Earth, you must battle the hideously mutated monsters that it has created after spreading throughout the colonies.

You are left to decimate the mutant onslaught with upgradeable weapons that include shotguns and rocket launches, as well as special Heavy weapons such as the autocannon and flamethrower. With Assault, Demolition, Hellfire or Terminator classes to suit different play styles, you can develop your skill tree to become the ultimate instrument of destruction – calling on your drone to make key tactical decisions.

Solstice Chronicles: MIA will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on February 7th priced at £13.69 (€14.99/$14.99), with a 10 percent launch discount available for one week.
