The Entertainment Software Rating Board has issued a rating for Sayonara Wild Hearts, suggesting that Simogo’s next game is nearing release.

“This is a rhythm/adventure game in which players travel through futuristic cities while riding motorcycles, dancing, skateboarding, and battling enemy characters,” the rating summary reads.

“As players zoom through stylized landscapes, they collect hearts, avoid hazards, and battle various enemies (e.g., bikers, dancing gangs, wolves).

“Players shoot projectiles, have rhythm-based dance battles, and engage in hand-to-hand combat (sometimes depicted in slow-motion); these scenes allow players to perform combat moves by matching timed button presses as they appear on screen.”

When the heart of a young woman breaks, it disturbs the balance of the universe. Soon after, a diamond butterfly appears in her dreams and leads her to a highway in the sky. Here, she finds her other self. The masked biker called The Fool.

This somewhat trippy experience is what the developer positions as “a euphoric music video dream about being awesome, riding motorcycles, skateboarding, dance battling, shooting lasers, wielding swords, and breaking hearts at 200 mph.”

With every stage set to a song of a custom-written pop album, that will see you travel through futuristic cities, dark forests and electric deserts as The Fool searches for the harmony of the universe. That’s hidden away in the hearts of her star-crossed allies: Little Death, Dancing Devils, Howling Moons, Stereo Lovers and Hermit 64.

Sayonara Wild Hearts will release exclusively on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2019.
