ININ Games has revealed Turrican Flashback, a “curated collection” of the intergalactic action-adventure series that will come to Nintendo Switch.
The original development team at Factor 5 is working with Ratalaika Games to bring together Turrican, Turrican II: The Final Fight, Mega Turrican and Super Turrican in a single compilation.
With the promise that the games have “never felt, looked and sounded better,” you can expect a reworked control scheme that “streamlines the series” along with new filters and dynamic on-screen elements.
As an example, that could see you choose to go full Retro or experience the games in full widescreen with minimal on-screen HUD elements.
Each game will also support a Rewind feature as well as save states, helping you to overcome the challenges that await you.
Turrican Flashback will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
