Microids Indie and Endroad have announced that Fallback will release on Nintendo Switch “by the end of the year.”
After a cataclysmic ecological disaster, humanity is forced to retreat to the safety of an underground bunker. Having mastered technology that will allow them to thrive once more, those living underground must now face the vicious creatures both from above ground and from inside the bunker that threaten their lifestyle.
In this rogue-like, you will take control of a rebellion wanting to escape from their underground confines. However, the mysterious Vesta Corporation will not let you get away so easily. In your hope of reaching the surface and saving what’s left of mankind, you will need to overcome aggressive robots, guardians and many other obstacles.
“We’re glad to accompany Endroad and Fallback to a new platform,” explains Microids Indie vice president Vincent Dondaine. “The Switch is a very popular console amongst indie games enthusiasts. Releasing Fallback on this platform will allow more players to engage with this truly unique experience.”
Endroad producer and co-founder Florian Le Gouriellec adds: “We can’t wait for players to discover Fallback on the Nintendo Switch! We also want to warmly thank the ActuGaming’s team for organizing this event that’s giving more visibility to a great number of French studios while highlighting the diversity and uniqueness of their games.”
Fallback will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
