After unravelling the narrative in their chaptered Squid Sister Stories, Nintendo has revealed the single-player mode in Splatoon 2.

When the Octarians squid-nap Callie and take her to their underground base, Marie pleads that the player rescues her.

That will see you Squid Jump across levels packed with clever devices and contraptions, and, for the first time, players can use different weapons to overcome such obstacles, take out enemies and topple towering bosses – such as the Roller, Slosher, Splatling or Dualies.

As with Splatoon‘s Hero Mode, this content has been designed to teach players tips and tricks that they can then use in multiplayer.

Splatoon 2 will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on July 21st.
