Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata has revised the appearance of his accompanying Mii character, reflecting his weight loss having undergone surgery to remove a bile duct growth last year.
With his weight now constant, he believed it necessary to change to reflect his “present condition.”
“Because of the operation I underwent in June last year, I’ve become a little thin,” Iwata wrote. “My weight has more or less remained the same since I left the hospital and it seems as though I’ll be able to maintain this figure, so I decided to update my official Mii to reflect my present condition. Please be kind to it.”
[岩田]私は、昨年6月に病気で手術をした影響で少しスリムになりました。退院後、体重はほとんど変わっておらず、この体型が維持できそうですので、公式Miiを現状に合わせることにしました。よろしくお願いします。#Iwatter pic.twitter.com/UeQohsHiUN
