Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will present a throwback to the Kanto region, in that Professor Oak’s cousin will make an appearance in the Nintendo 3DS exclusives.
Samson Oak performs research on the regional variants that now live in the Alola region, with The Pokémon Company jesting that his tanned appearance could even be interpreted as being Professor Oak’s own Alola Form.
This week has been a busy one for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon news, revealing Type: Null and Jangmo-o, Alolan Raticate, Ultra Beasts, the Aether Foundation, the Zygarde Cube, Poké Finder, and that the Nintendo 3DS exclusives are set 12 hours apart from one another.
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America, Australia and New Zealand on November 18th, and in Europe on November 23rd.
