Masahiro Sakurai has revealed Trophy Rush, a new mini-game that will appear in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
He shared that it “quite a bit different” to Brawl’s Coin Launcher, a mode where players flung coins at trophies in an effort to obtain them for their collection.
“Here’s a new mini-game that’s quite a bit different from Coin Launcher in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It’s called Trophy Rush!” Sakurai wrote on Miiverse. “The details… will be kept secret for now.”
The tease comes after an information blowout last week to coincide with E3 2014, where Mii Fighter, Palutena and Pac-Man all joined the playable character roster, the Wii U GameCube controller adapter, and confirmation that Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will launch on October 3rd.
