Square Enix has revealed that SaGa Frontier Remastered is in development for Nintendo Switch.

The role-playing game was first released for the original PlayStation back in 1997, and will now make a return on the portable home console “with updated graphics, events, cutscenes, enhancements and a new protagonist.”

That has seen Fuse added as a playable character, with the chance to choose your favourite from the eight that are available who each has their own goals and endings.

Thanks to the Free-Form Scenario System, the choices that you make will affect how events unfold to “allow you to manipulate and expand a story all your own.”

In battle, you will be able to use glimmer and learn new skills that can see you fire consecutive special attacks from multiple team members.

SaGa Frontier Remastered will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Summer 2021.
