Nintendo are preparing to release the Wii U during early December across Europe, sources close to CVG state.
Previous speculation had estimated a November launch, although manufacturing of the Wii U GamePad, which features a 6.2 inch touchscreen display, front-facing camera, motion-sensing, and NFC technologies, is proving more time consuming to mass assemble than expected.
Having reached out to Nintendo for comment, they declined.
