Rumour: Wii U launch date leaked by Japanese retailer

A leaked internal email from a Japanese retailer has purportedly revealed the launch date for the Wii U, according to WiiUDaily.

The email was circulated among staff at Media Land, a popular video game shop based in the Akihabara district in Tokyo, and apparently states that the Wii U will launch across North America on Sunday 18th November. The Japanese launch will follow a week later, and its European arrival received no mention at all.

The report makes no mention as to whether such launch dates are internal target dates, or whether they are firmly set in stone.

Personally, I don’t believe the rumour. But I’ll allow you to make your own minds up.
