It seems that the slate-form redesign will be joining Nintendo’s year-long celebrations for Mario’s brother, which has so far seen the release of Luigi’s Mansion 2, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros., and New Super Luigi U.
Kotaku were sent photos of the white and green-coloured design, sent in by a tipster who also spotted Luigi’s silhouette imprinted on the rear of the handheld.
Nintendo rarely comment on such apparent leaks, so we’ll have to wait to see whether confirmation surfaces through a Nintendo Direct that may be waiting for us around the corner.
