Rumour: Skylanders Imaginators Leaks Weeks Before E3 2016 Reveal

Portal Masters will return to Skylands in Skylanders Imaginators, which is tipped to be this year’s iteration in Activison’s toys-to-life behemoth.

After Skylanders SuperChargers introduces vehicles that let your Skylanders team travel by land, air and sea, Imaginators will reportedly look back at when the Ancients used Mind Magic to create everything in Skylands.

Seeing that it can conjure anything that you can imagine into existence, the Ancients recognised that it would be dangerous in the wrong hands. But, even after it was sealed away, Kaos has unleashed its power and produced an unstoppable army of Doomlanders. It’s therefore down to you to create Skylanders Imaginators trained by Senseis, and once again put an end to his plans.

That story is outlined as below:

The story of Skylanders Imaginators takes place long ago when the Ancients used a mysterious power known as “Mind Magic” to create everything in Skylands. With it, they conjured into existence anything that they could imagine! However, they soon learned that in the wrong hands, it could be very dangerous, and so they sealed it away so that it could never be misused. After discovering this ancient secret, Kaos has unleashed the power of “Mind Magic” into Skylands once again – and he is using it to create an unstoppable army of Doomlanders, the likes of which have never been seen! Now it’s up to Portal Masters to create Skylanders Imaginators from their own imagination and stop Kaos and his evil Doomlanders before it is too late. And to help train them, Eon is sending the greatest mystic warriors of all time – the Senseis!

Portal Masters can choose between 20 new Skylander Senseis that each have their own Battle Class (such as Knight, Sorcerer and Brawler), while Creation Crystals will let you create and store custom Skylanders.

The Skylanders Imaginators Starter Pack will apparently include Water Sensei Master King Pen, Earth Villain Golden Queen, and a Fire Creation Crystal, and will launch in Europe on October 14th and North America on October 16th.
