Two visitors at Universal Orlando Resort have reported seeing Shigeru Miyamoto filming near the Universal Ball, blocked off by security with no photos allowed.
It is believed that Nintendo may be preparing to announce more information about the collaboration, which will see their games, characters and worlds to life with “major attractions” at Universal theme parks.
This continues their efforts to expand the reach and popularity of their iconic characters and intellectual property, with plans for “immersive experiences” to be created.
We knew that Nintendo and Universal’s creative teams had started working on concepts in May 2015, although we have heard little more about the project since. That may soon change.[Thanks NeoGAF]
