Rumour: Pokémon Let’s GO! Pikachu And Eevee Pokédex Only Has The First 151 Pokémon

It’s another week and we have another rumour to contemplate, which suggests that Pokémon Let’s GO Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s GO Eevee will only have the 151 Pokémon that were first discovered in the Kanto region.

This looks to have come from the same anonymous 4chan user that leaked the game titles before news surfaced that Nintendo had registered the domains for them, who today added: “Like GO’s first release, only Kanto Pokémon will be available in Let’s GO.”

This is one rumour that I have found more than a little Farfetch’d, seeing as it would mean that the games would not ever be competitively viable for the Pokémon Championship series, and, therefore, seems a too restrictive move for Game Freak to have made.

The same user had previously shared in April that these games are Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition remakes for the portable home console that will not only see Red and Blue make a return but, as fans have requested, will let your Pokémon follow you around.

The PokéRides continue to replace Hidden Machines (HMs), and, similar to Festival Plaza, there is an online hub area where you can interact with other players. There are also rumblings that it will have some integration with Pokémon GO and it will put a new accessory to use, whatever that turns out to be.

  1. I would actually love that! The first gen is by far the best gen! Sticking to its roots for the switch is an awesome idea and also people who never played the old games like I did all.those years ago on a gameboy can relive the amazing world of kanto properly! If this is true and I am.oncredibly excited, gonna be like being a kid all over again!
