The Nintendo Official UK Store reportedly have plans to launch the ‘N-Box,’ which will look to replicate the success seen by Los Angeles-based subscription service Loot Crate.
MCV reports that this will feature toys, clothes and other merchandise that take inspiration from the company’s iconic characters. These will be available individually, with subscription options allowing fans to take a subscription for three, six or 12 month periods.
Operated by The Hut Group, this is a similar service to Zavvi’s own Z-Box that distributes t-shirts, Pop Vinyl toys and postcards to subscribers. The online retailer will launch a Z-Box with Nintendo-specific contents in September.
