Japanese magazine Nikkei Trendy has published within its latest issue a rumour that Nintendo are currently preparing a 3DS Lite.
They state that “To increase the 3DS’ install base, there’s a possibility for a lighter version that addresses the handheld’s weak points – the thickness and the battery life.” This is accompanied by placing an expected announcement, or maybe even its arrival, in Spring.
With Nintendo having unveiled the Circle Pad Pro attachment, a hardware revision could be made to add the second Circle Pad to the handheld.
