There’s rumblings that a Nintendo 3DS Headset is to see release later this year, GoNintendo reports.
Set to push voice chat capabilities on their resurgent handheld, it is believed that Nintendo will launch such a device to coincide with the release of Heroes of Ruin, currently in development by N-Space and to be published by Square Enix.
Such news comes from a source close to the developer, who states that the fantasy-adventure Nintendo 3DS exclusive would utilise the new headset for Voice over IP (VoIP) support.
Heroes of Ruin is confirmed to release for Nintendo 3DS across North America on June 26th, with a European launch date unannounced.
