Rumour: New Zelda game set for E3 reveal

TLOZ

Nintendo are reportedly set to reveal a new game in The Legend of Zelda series during their E3 Media Presentation next week.

Such news has emerged from French website p-nintendo.com, that claim Eiji Aonuma, who has worked extensively as both director and producer for The Legend of Zelda series, was quoted on a television programme as unveiling such a plan.

Of course, 2011 marks the 25th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series, with the original game having first released in Japan on February 21st 1986.

As to which console the game is currently being developed for is anyone’s guess. Whilst Nintendo 3DS is highly plausible, the anticipated reveal of Project Café could easily prove to be the perfect platform – with a high-definition Zelda title sure to be the perfect boost to intial sales/
