Ubisoft looks set to reveal the news that Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is coming to Nintendo Switch at E3 2021, a sequel to the turn-based tactics RPG smash hit Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

That’s according to Reddit user PracticalBrush12, a prominent leaker who has accurately shared news connected to Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Nintendo Direct presentations and Monster Hunter digital events ahead of their scheduled announcements.

While offering little more than that Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope would be a sequel, if it is indeed real and on the way, it shouldn’t be long before we have the chance to learn more about what Ubisoft Milan has created.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot and Nintendo’s legendary Shigeru Miyamoto took to the stage to reveal Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle to open the Ubisoft E3 2017 Conference, meaning that the sequel could be revealed in the Ubisoft Forward digital event tomorrow, which has teased “big announcements, updates on some of Ubisoft’s live titles, and some surprises that you won’t want to miss.”

The news could also be saved for the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct which will broadcast on Tuesday 15th June, for which Nintendo has promised to deliver “roughly 40 minutes of information exclusively on Nintendo Switch games, mostly releasing in 2021.”
