Rumour: Mario Kart 8 Wii U Premium Pack racing toward May release

An anonymous source and a convincing packshot are all that’s needed to once again set the rumour mill in motion.

gameblog.fr report that a source, which we can presume is a retailer, has leaked the existence of an incoming Mario Kart 8 Premium Pack that will see release across Europe on May 30th.

As with the standard Premium Pack this will purportedly include a Black Wii U and GamePad with 32GB internal storage, alongside a copy of Mario Kart 8 and a 7-day Wii Karaoke U by JOYSOUND trial pass.

Whilst unconfirmed, it was always likely that Nintendo would look to bundle their rip-roaring kart racer in an effort to boost Wii U hardware sales.
