It would appear that Microsoft and Nintendo will continue to strengthen their relationship this year, with a rumor having surfaced that the company is porting Xbox One games to Nintendo Switch.

Direct-Feed Games reports that Xbox Game Studios – known as Microsoft Studios until it was rebranded recently – will start to publish more games on the portable home console. Minecraft was just the start, with the lauded side-scrolling exploration-platformer Ori and the Blind Forest to lead their efforts.

Ori and the Blind Forest tells the tale of a young orphan destined for heroics, who, after a powerful storm sets a series of devastating events in motion, must journey to find his courage and confront a dark nemesis to save the forest of Nibel from dying.

If the rumor holds true, it sounds like we could expect more Xbox One ports beyond that to come soon. Other likely candidates could be games such as Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Super Lucky’s Tale, and, we can but hope, perhaps even Rare Replay.
