Ubisoft has confirmed that its free-to-play, team PvP sports game Roller Champions will release on Nintendo Switch “at a later date.”

Coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC next week, the game challenges players to compete in two teams of three to be the first to reach five points by throwing the ball in the goal. However, the more laps that you make around the elliptical arena, the more points you will get – as long as your team maintains ball possession.

Winning matches and climbing the leaderboards is your road to competing in “increasingly renowned” stadiums and leagues, leading to the Elite Champions’ league. Your journey will also result in you gaining more fans, discovering new maps, competing in time-limited game modes and having the chance to fully customise your Champion – with exclusive cosmetic rewards available to be acquired with the Roller Pass each season.

Whether playing solo or teaming up with friends, the developer has implemented a cross-play matchmaking system and cross-progression so that you can carry your progress between every platform.

Roller Champions will release as a free download on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide “at a later date.”
