Rockruff and Komala were revealed as part of several new Pokédex additions in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, but we can now see the Rock-type Puppy Pokémon and Normal-type Drowsing Pokémon in action.
New gameplay footage was shown at the 2016 Pokémon Hong Kong National Championships, which shared the introductory scene where Professor Kukui is introducing you to the Alola region. In this, we now learn that Kukui has his own Rockruff, before the footage moved on to show one squaring off against an Arcanine, and Komala faced with an Electabuzz.
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America, Australia and New Zealand on November 18th, and in Europe on November 23rd.
