SMG Studio has announced that their multiplayer puzzle game about cooperation, communication and robot explosions, Death Squared, will soon see release on Nintendo Switch.

The Nintendo Switch version will come packed with all-new exclusive content in additional levels not seen in other releases.

With up to four players able to join in the chaos, everyone must coordinate their efforts to help a colourful crew of robots escape a hazardous science facility.

There are treacherous test chambers and increasingly complex puzzles to conquer, where one wrong move could result in triggering a trap – such as spikes, lasers and other deadly devices – that would send you and your cuboid comrades to the big scrapyard in the sky.

“Death Squared was created as a co-op experience for players of all ages and skill levels to enjoy,” shared lead designer Patrick Cook. “We believe it’s a perfect pairing for the Nintendo Switch and its distinct multiplayer capabilities. It’s our hope you’ll ‘share the joy’ of Death Squared with friends and loved ones when it releases for the system later this year.”

Death Squared will release for Nintendo Switch on the Nintendo eShop in Q2 2017.
