META Publishing and NExT Studios have announced that Biped will release on Nintendo Switch this week.

This cooperative physics-based puzzle adventure stars cute robot protagonists Aku and Sila, who must work together to travel to an alternate version of Earth populated by their robot friends.

You navigate by controlling your robot’s legs, soon learning to walk, slide and operate puzzles by moving them individually – with the developer recommending dual Joy-Con to have the best experience.

Teamwork is essential for you to progress, as you coordinate with each other to explore the world, avoid traps or playfully fling your friend to scale walls.

“In these trying times, we’re very happy to make a game that brings people together. Biped is the kind of game that you can play with anyone!” explains Meta Publishing CEO Ilya Salamatov.

“Grab a friend, a roommate, a sibling, or a parent and have fun working with each other to progress. The Switch makes it even easier to play together with its detachable Joy-Con and portable screens. We encourage everyone to stay safe, find someplace cosy, and enjoy our game!”

Biped will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 2nd July 2020.
