Robert Kirkman’s Thief Of Thieves: Season One Out On Nintendo Switch This Week
Skybound Entertainment and Rival Games have announced that Thief of Thieves: Season One will release on Nintendo Switch this week.
Based on Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic book series, the game tells the story of burglar Celia who is the protege of master thief Conrad “Redmond” Paulson.
Joining a new team of criminals, you must help Celia advance from apprentice to master – planning high-profile heists with your team before sneaking in, reacting to any obstacles that you are met with, to then make your escape.
With the story transitioning between comic frames and gameplay, the choices that you make shape Thief of Thieves: Season One’s narrative and may have dramatic consequences.
The characters are also brought to life thanks to voice actors like Fryda Wolff (Mass Effect: Andromeda), Stephen Stanton (Rogue One), Emily O’Brien (Death Stranding), Cissy Jones (Firewatch, The Walking Dead: Season 1), Fred Tatasciore (Kung-Fu Panda 2), and Elias Toufexis (Deus Ex: Human Revolution).
“It was a completely new experience working on an already established IP but the creative freedom that Skybound gave allowed us to create something brand new and exciting for Thief of Thieves,” explains Rival Games CEO Jukka Laakso. “We’re excited to introduce this iteration of Celia’s story to fans old and new.”
Thief of Thieves: Season One will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 12th priced at £17.99 ($19.99).
