Arc System Works has announced that River City Melee Mach!! will release on Nintendo Switch this week.
The Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun series debuted in 1986, and now the “win-through-fighting” from Downtown Nekketsu Koushinkyoku: Soreyuke Daiundoukai makes a return.
After a poster advertising “a melee tournament will be held” is posted in town, reported incidents in which high school students in the area have been attacked start to increase.
Believing that the melee tournament and the attacks are connected, Kunio gathers up the strongest members from his hot-blooded high school to participate in the tournament to uncover the truth.
In this enhanced version, there are more than 180 characters, over 250 special moves, and more than 30 teams.
With the chance for up to four players to fight alongside each other, you can also head online to play against players from all around the world – climbing your way to the top by defeating them in major brawls.
River City Melee Mach!! will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on October 10th priced at £10.39 ($13.99).
