gaming company and Pixelated Milk have announced that WARSAW will release on Nintendo Switch, a hand-painted tactical role-playing game that’s set in World War 2.

Taking place in the Nazi-invaded Central European capital city of the same name, it will see a group of characters from all walks of life rally together to rise up against their oppressor. That will serve to bring to light Poland’s historic 1944 uprising and deliver an immersive experience of tactical urban warfare.

There is a haunting teaser trailer that has been released to coincide with WARSAW’s reveal that has been created by animation studio Human Ark and comes accompanied with a song performed by Polish singer Brodka. It’s a chilling early look at what’s to come, and the struggle against overwhelming odds that you must face.

Those that will be at PAX East (Thursday 28th – Sunday 31st March) in Boston, MA next month can get hands-on with the game for the first time.

WARSAW will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Q3 2019.
