Grey Box, Six Foot and Tequila Works have, at long last, announced that RiME will see release on Nintendo Switch in November.

Tantalus Media had been recruited to help port the puzzle adventure game to the portable home console, which wordlessly uses colour, light and music to tell the story of a young boy that is shipwrecked alone on a mysterious island.

It will be made available on the Nintendo eShop for £29.99 (€34.99 / $29.99), or a special physical edition that contains the full game and a digital download code for the original score penned by composer David García Díaz can be bought at retailers for £39.99 (€44.99 / $39.99).

“As big fans of Nintendo, we truly appreciate our fans’ patience as Tantalus and Tequila Works continue working on RiME on Nintendo Switch; we are all committed to making sure all players get the high-quality experience they deserve,” shared Raúl Rubio Munárriz, Tequila Works CEO and creative director.

RiME will release for Nintendo Switch in North America on November 14th, and in Europe on November 17th.
