Nintendo has shared an overview trailer for Rhythm Paradise Groove – or Rhythm Heaven Groove as it is called in North America – which is coming to Nintendo Switch next month.

The team at TNX Music Recordings is back to co-develop the game with music produced by renowned Japanese musician Tsunku ♂.

The series makes a more than welcome return, seeing as it hasn’t been seen in toe-tapping action since 2016’s Rhythm Paradise Megamix on Nintendo 3DS.

Whether catching and chopping flying veggies or bouncing fruit off your biceps, the game challenges you to time button presses to the beat in “all kinds of groovy tasks that are easy to learn and rewarding to master.”

We enjoyed our recent hands-on with the game, concluding in our preview: “Rhythm Paradise Groove is shaping up to be everything I hoped it would be, and then some. It’s wonderfully quirky, laughter-packed because of its many offbeat concepts and crammed with musical earworms that’ll get stuck in your head all summer. It’s yet another game not to be missed.”

Rhythm Paradise Groove will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 2 July 2026.
