Pixmain and StarryStarry have revealed that A Guidebook of Babel is coming to Nintendo Switch, which is pitched as “a plot adventure game with butterfly effect at the core.”
After your death, you discover that you have boarded the Babel – a giant cruise which is tasked with leading you to the afterlife. The titular guidebook will help you explore your surroundings, but, to properly welcome you onboard, the crew discharge your memories and power up the Giant Boiler.
Given a pen to piece everything in your life together, you can also choose to rewind and fast forward to a point in time to rewrite the past so future events can unfold. However, the consequences of triggering the butterfly effect are unpredictable as even the smallest change could drastically alter the future.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features as below:

A Guidebook of Babel will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Autumn 2022.
