Secret Base has announced that Streets of Red: Devil’s Dare Deluxe will release on Nintendo Switch, a permadeath local co-op multiplayer horror beat’em up that will challenge players to defeat a legion of undead monstrosities.
To do so, players will be bestowed with the skills of retro gaming heroes with Kingston, Queenie, Jackson, Axel, Anthony, Carboni, and Jonathan Rivera’s unique play styles presenting throwbacks to Final Fantasy VI, The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, Street Fighter, and more.
With an easy to learn but hard to master combat system, you must kill to survive. Every monster that you slay will reward you with cash, special kills earning you more, and massacring three at a time rewarding you with food to recover your health.
That cash can be used spent on upgrades, but will also be required to revive yourself with a lack of spending money leading to the game over screen and your save slot dying with you.
Streets of Red: Devil’s Dare Deluxe will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on February 27th, priced at $9.99.
