Numskull Games and Bitmap Bureau have announced that Final Vendetta is now available on Nintendo Switch.
“Although we’ve long been fans of the genre, Final Vendetta is our first foray into beat ‘em-ups. We’re thrilled to be part of the modern renaissance and can’t wait to bring that sense of old-school arcade fun to modern consoles and PC,” enthuses Bitmap Bureau design director Mike Tucker.
Their side-scrolling beat ‘em up pays homage to ’80s and ’90s iconic arcade classics like Double Dragon and Final Fight.
Promising to capture “everything the Bitmap Bureau team are known for” such as “beautifully animated pixel art, unique exciting gameplay and a modern take of a beloved retro genre,” you will be able to play solo or in co-op mode.
You can expect four different game modes and a “thumping” dance and techno soundtrack from Featurecast, which will also have four exclusive tracks from ’90s chart-topping electronic dance duo, Utah Saints.
Final Vendetta is now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
