JMJ Interactive has announced that Robbotto will release on Nintendo Switch, a retro 2D co-op adventure in which you must survive a malfunctioning space cruiser.
You play as Robb and Otto, two courageous maintenance robots that must shut down the machines that are rampaging around the ship.
Whether braving the campaign solo or teaming up with a friend, there are more than 100 levels to overcome in which you will encounter 20 different enemies and 10 massive bosses.
“I feel that many games these days focus heavily on online gaming, and focus too much on complex mechanics,” explains JMJ Interactive founder and Robbotto developer, Mårten Jonsson.
“That’s fun and all, but there is always going to be a need for classic gaming with fun, straightforward gameplay. I’ve put a lot of effort into this game in order to provide the kind of gaming experience I enjoyed when I was a kid, and I hope people will have as much fun playing it as I had making it.”
Robbotto will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on August 16th.
