As the new Mario Kart Wii Pack and range of Nintendo Selects titles debut at retail today, GAME, Gamestation and Asda have dropped the price across their Wii bundles to £99.99.
The price cut also applies to the already existing Wii Sports Resort Pack, with such pricing available both in-store and online. Alongside this, competitors HMV are selling the console for £115 whereas Play.com and ShopTo are a smidgeon higher at around the £120 mark.
Nintendo announced that it would cut the estimated retail price of the Wii to £129.99 earlier this month, although, as per usual, retail were due to compete on such pricing.
“The opportunity to buy the Nintendo Wii for under £100 is a fantastic chance for those who previously haven’t experienced the Wii,” commented Neil Ashurst, Head of UK communications for GAME Group. “We are delighted to offer this deal to our customers.”
