Elden Pixels has announced that Alwa’s Awakening will release on Nintendo Switch this month, their 8-bit NES-inspired adventure game.
You play as Zoe, a heroine that has been sent from another world to bring peace to the land of Alwa. Carrying a magic staff she must set out to help the people, working her way through treacherous dungeons, meeting characters and exploring the world.
With no arrow pointing you in the right direction, you are free to explore the large interconnected world and, by using the magic staff, you can solve puzzles, defeat enemies and topple bosses.
However, those needing some guidance can use the all-new Assist Mode that lets you turn on (or off) item locations on the map and enable instant respawn.
Alwa’s Awakening will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on September 27th, priced at €9.99 ($9.99).
