Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D remains “100% Uncut” for German release

Resident Evil 3DS

The usually rigorous German Ratings Board, USK, have allowed Capcom’s latest entry within their globally popular Resident Evil series to launch across Germany without the need for any cuts.

The franchise, which birthed the survival-horror genre, has previously been hampered at every turn by USK, with Capcom frequently being asked to revise games within the series before they would be allowed to hit retailers across the country. Both decapitations and being able to shoot heads cleanly from a zombie’s shoulders were past examples of what the ratings board asked to be addressed.

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, however, has passed without the need for any alterations – something that Capcom has been ever so keen to point out, plastering a large “100% Uncut” on the front cover of the German version of the title.

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is due to release across North America on June 28th and a European release on July 1st, before launching in Australia on July 7th.
