Resident Evil Revelations confirmed for Wii U


After weeks of speculation, Capcom have announced that Resident Evil Revelations will release on Wii U.

This redefined version of the Nintendo 3DS handheld exclusive sees HD visuals, enhanced lighting effects and a more immersive sound experience, as well as additional content in the form of a terrifying new enemy, extra difficulty mode and Raid Mode improvements.

Raid Mode sees players either play online in co-op or alone in single player, with new weapons, skill sets and Hunk as a playable character introduced within the Wii U release.

The game will also incorporate, which will provide themed content once the game launches. Players can pre-register on the service from January 24th to gain early access to such content, with further information about online events to be revealed closer to launch.

Resident Evil Revelations will be available on Wii U across North America on May 21st, and Europe on May 24th.
