Capcom has revealed Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, an original 3D computer graphic anime series coming exclusively to Netflix in 2021.

Capcom’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi will produce and supervise the horror-action series, which is being created at TMS Entertainment and Quebico with Resident Evil: Vendetta producer Kei Miyamoto “in charge of the full 3DCG animation production.”

Based around Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, suspense and dynamic action scenes promise to “reveal a Resident Evil world unlike anything seen before.”

The teaser art that has been shared shows the protagonists against the backdrop of a blood-splattered wall, waiting to defeat a new threat.

Whereas the teaser trailer has looked to show “scenes of courage,” with Claire entering an abandoned building in which she finds “something” while Leon saves “someone” in the darkness.
